About us
Good News for All Nations seeks to be an authentic community of Christians who love and care for each other as a family. We welcome and include all peoples from every race, ethnicity, socio-economic background, age, or disability. We believe that all people have important gifts and talents to share in God’s family! Our hope is to start worship services first in French, then Swahili, then in English. As an inclusive, gospel-centered community of Jesus’ followers, our hope and prayer is to connect all nations to God, to grow together, serve the city, and extend God’s kingdom through the practices of justice, mercy, and reconciliation among all the members of the community. We will work together with other local churches to accomplish these things.
our pastor and His Wife:
Kafunga and Celestina Namuhindura are from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In the DRC, Kafunga planted and pastored churches. He also started an organization to help orphans and other abandoned children to get an education. Persecuted for political-religious reasons, the family was forced to flee and found asylum in the United States. They now live in the Bay Area city of Newark and desire to bring over their seven children who still live in Africa.
